This Little Piggy Went To Market

Let me just begin here by saying this is Jeff writing and that when Jodie realizes what I’ve posted, she (after having recovered from fainting) will no doubt remove this.  So enjoy while you may!
On my way to lectures this morning at the Examination School I decided to cut through the Oxford Covered Market (yes...the same market notorious for the Christmas Turkey Hangings :)

I found myself pressing through a large group of 13 year old tourists gathering around the butcher shop.  Now I know why.
After a quick giggle with my new 13 year old friends, these were the first thoughts running though my head:
  1. Next time I feel like I’m having a bad day, I’ll remember this moment and be thankful.
  2. I have found a place in the world where someone believes this is worthy of placement in a display window.
  3. I will never be able to play Pass-the-Pigs again without disturbing flashbacks.
  4. I used to think the idea of Rock-a-bye-Baby in a treetop was unsettling (as in...why are we letting an infant sleep up in a tree)...Knowing what This-Little-Piggy-Went-To-Market actually means has officially made the Piggies my number one troubling children’s song lyric of all time.
Just my 2 Pence for the day.
This is the picture of a bad day.
Pass The Pigs Anyone?
